Vibha witnesses interesting ideation of mixing fun and fundraising! If you are left doubting, go on and read the fascinating story of Dream Team M based out of our Bay Area action center that helped raise $300,000 and impacted over 10,000 children!
This edition also throws light on some of the most interesting ways the projects we support, are engaging the beneficiaries to maximise the results of the efforts being put. From migrant children in Saath being given a migration card with a scorecard that summarize their progress to help them get enrolled in local schools, to star systems to motivate kids at GORD to continue their studies - every Vibha funded project is adding to our learnings on effective motivation.
Hope you enjoy this edition and we look forward to your questions / feedback!

The Dream Team M, Vibha’s Marathon training program began in 2011 when a few committed volunteers and athletes of the Bay Area action center planned to raise awareness about fitness and philanthropy through one single program. Today, it offers half and full marathon training, empowering close to eighty patrons to cross the finish line, raising almost a $100,000 a year.
Pramod has been a resident of Atlanta for 20 years, and lives with his wife and two beautiful children. He has been a very strong Vibha supporter for almost a decade now, and goes beyond sponsoring and donating - he is a model advocate of Vibha’s causes. Those who know Pramod, are aware of his strong belief in giving back to the community in whichever little or big way he can. And that includes not only social development in the community but cultural and technological development, as well. He is very active in supporting several social and community organizations through sponsorships and participation in programs which are of community interest.
Saath, a non-governmental organization registered as a public charitable trust, is Vibha’s partner in the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Since 1989, Saath has facilitated participatory processes that improve the quality of life for the urban and rural poor. Vibha is the fundraising body while Saath is the executing organization.
